and Finance will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 801 CMR 4.02: Fees for
Licenses, Permits and Services to be Charged by State Agencies. |

Subject Matter:

All interested parties will be afforded the opportunity to provide
both oral and written testimony on amendments to the Registry of Motor Vehicles Fee
schedule. The amendment will eliminate a provision under current regulation designed to
charge a $2.00 license renewal fee every five years for all classes of licenses beginning
on or after May 1, 2000. The change will result in the continuation of the existing
license renewal fee schedule for all classes of licenses. |

no later than 5:00 PM on March 27, 2000. |
