Congressman Tierney a no-show again
at challenger Bill Hudak's town hall meeting

Saturday, August 29, 2009

Since U.S. Congressman John Tierney refuses to schedule his own town hall meeting to hear from his 6th District constituents, the challenger for his seat in Washington, Bill Hudak of Boxford, held his own.  Though Tierney was invited to participate, again he chose to duck those he purports to represent.

The Hudak for Congress campaign held its town hall meeting event in the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel in Danvers at 1 pm on Saturday, August 29.  Despite the inclement weather, it was well-attended by about 200 concerned voters from the district.  After his presentation, Bill Hudak took questions from the voters he hopes to represent when The Second American Revolution succeeds.

Despite torrential rain from passing tropical depression Danny, a good crowd showed up for Bill Hudak's town hall meeting. I estimated about 200 in attendance once the meeting got rolling. Hudak gave an impressively informed presentation of what ObamaCare was and would do, along with his own alternative solutions.

The audience actively joined the Q&A session, which went on for over an hour. Voters seemed to very much appreciate speaking their minds to someone who'd listen and respond. Hudak listened to citizens' concerns and was well-prepared with his detailed responses.
