ONLY * 2 * DAYS LEFT !!!
Before the Wednesday, November 19th Petition Drive Deadline with the City/Town Clerks
--------------------------------------------------------------------
*** Promise Alert! ***
Monday, November 17, 1997
Greetings Activists;
This is your last chance to have us deliver petitions to the city and town clerks for you that you
can't deliver yourself!
REMEMBER: The absolute drop-dead deadline for getting petitions to the city and town clerks for
certification is WEDNESDAY, not later than 5:00 PM -- TWO DAYS FROM NOW.
Our petition sorting party is now happening at the Newton Marriott Hotel. We will be there until
about 8:00 PM tonight to receive any petitions you have that you can't personally get to the
appropriate city or town clerk(s) anywhere in the state.
Some delivery drivers will leave from there tonight with their route packages. The rest will pick up
their packages early tomorrow morning and be on their way, spreading out in every direction across
the state.
It is too late to mail uncertified petitions to us for delivery (except for *ONLY* petitions for the
*City of Boston*, which has a deadline of next Monday).
If you have any petitions that need to be delivered, get them to the Newton Marriott Hotel, Cape
Cod Room, by 7:00 PM tonight -- or they are worthless.
The Newton Marriott Hotel is located in Newton on Rte. 30, just off Rte. 128 very near the Mass.
Pike junction.
Thanks for all your help -- and let's keep our fingers crossed that all our work together over these
past months will be worthwhile and fruitful!
Chip Ford --
