Legislators Taxpayer Rating for the 2015-16 Session

CLT has released its rating of each legislator on taxpayer-related votes
during the 2015-16 term which ended formal sessions on July 31st.
Fifteen votes were tallied in the House and twelve in the Senate, which
provide taxpayers with insight on whether their legislator was a friend
or foe. CLT has been presenting a two-year rating of the Massachusetts
Legislature since the 1981-82 session. This rating, like those in the
past, has its high points and lows but puts each legislator's voting
record in perspective.
Thirty-four (34) legislators scored zero — providing not even a single
vote over two years in support of the over–burdened taxpayers of their
district and the state. However there were some bright spots, as
nineteen (19) legislators received a perfect 100% score — voting every
time with the taxpayers who provide all the state's revenue.
