A Letter from Patti Amirault
March, 2000

Dear Friends,

I am writing to ask for your help. Very soon we will be approaching Governor Cellucci asking for a commutation for Gerald Amirault. If you share our outrage over this continued injustice I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider writing the Governor a letter letting him know how you feel. Letters, written in your own words, do not have to be long. They might include the following:

Short introduction

  • Reason(s) why you feel he should commute the sentence

  • Any first hand knowledge you have of Gerald as a person

  • Letters should be sent to:

His Excellency the Governor
A. Paul Cellucci
Room 360
State House
Boston, Massachusetts 02133

If you know of others who share our feelings of outrage about this case please urge them to write this very important letter also. Thank you very much for your help and continued support over the years.
