Today the Healey/Hillman
campaign for governor/lieutenant governor respectively, invited Barbara Anderson
to join them at their Boston campaign headquarters new conference
to discuss property tax relief. The campaign passed out its
own news release, as well as copies of CLT's recent two: "An
Open Query to Deval Patrick" and "Deval’s
'Property Tax Relief' Plan Revealed At Last!"
Barbara pointed out that Democrat candidate for
governor Patrick's so-called "property tax relief plan" provides
no assurances, is vague at best, dependant on his "trust" in local
officials to provide the promised relief.
She also reminded the media, and through them the
public, that if Deval Patrick should be elected, Proposition 2½
itself will be at risk of being dismembered and laid to rest,
resulting in even higher property taxes. |
